Tachikawa to Zeglis: What should we do?

Z to T: Well, we could scale it down and push it back?

T to Z: How much and how far?

Z to T: Well, how about test beds in four cities? And let's make it the end of '04. That's far enough over most people's event horizon to relieve any pressure on us to deliver anything anytime soon.

T to Z: And who knows, maybe WE'LL be gone by then!! Yeah, that's the ticket...let's announce it.

Carranza2, Re. AT&T’s DoCoMo contract clause-

The AWE June02 10-Q gives us a clue. “The terms of the DoCoMo investment enable DoCoMo to terminate its investment and require repayment of its $9.8 billion investment, plus interest, if we fail,>>>>>under some circumstances,>>>>>>to commence service using an agreed-on technology in a least 13 of the top 50 domestic markets by June 30, 2004.”

Apparently, the “circumstances” have been triggered.
