OT <Federal, state and local government coffers are in the worst shape they have been in in a long time.> Maybe they should focus more on fixing the economy then? As opposed to "taxing" it more. Or in hindsight they shouldn't have declared war on the formative technology and internet companies helping the economy grow. War in the name of "valuation" or bubble stock price pricking. Greenspan, and the powers that be attacked the very companies that were growing the economy through interest rate policy and failed/ignored/circumvented attempts at breaking economy strangling monoploies like the baby bells.
