Saddam is no threat to America IMHO (remember we supported his attack on Iran when that nation was the big bogeyman) However he could be a potential threat to Israel and he refuses to take orders from the US as many other Arab regimes do. And the Bush regime is chock full of oil men and Israel firsters. Iraq also is one of the most secular Arab regimes with a million practicing Christians and a Christian as the number two man. Funny way to fight Islamic extremism by attacking a secular Arab state. Gives the lie to Bushie propoganda IMHO.
