The reason is right in front of your face....well, as soon as you pull yer head out it will be, why do you pinheads KEEP saying that President Bush has to have more proof to invade. The proof is there, and has been there for some time. It would not matter to you if Bush had an 8 X 10 glossy on tv every night you would still want MORE proof. NO more proof is needed. Saddam has to go, by hook or crook. I believe the stability of the region depends on it, and I believe it is time to take any control he ever had out of his hands.

Also a very simple answer, Shep. He has committed to going through the UN/Inspector procedure. If the inspectors find what he knows they have, fine, the UN takes over. But if they do not find it, he will confront Sadman with the proof of his lies and take appropriate action. He can't foolishly tip his hand before the sucker is lined up.
