Les, these are recent articles... is offshore outsourcing just hitting the rest of the country would you say?

I think thats why silicon valley can't recover on the job front, the jobs are going away permanently. In 2001 the job cuts in tech were so deep, in an ordinary recession some hiring would have started by now. But this time the hiring is elsewhere.

I'm not convinced this is a bad thing for the overall economy, although it is definitely bad for the local economy.

Some tech companies are starting to hire agressively though, so its not unilateral-

'low pay' 'no American wants kind of jobs', so say the
management. We keep all the good paying jobs in America.
