OT: Well all I can say is I bought my ALTR about the same time you initially got into your AMAT position. That is to say before you began to add additional shares. Basically I spent a lot of time staring at another potential loss so looking for an exit and a better entry position surely seemed like a good idea to me.

At least today we had some volatility. Short positions an hour into the session would have paid off handsomely by the close.

Tomorrow morning?

We get those housing numbers a half hour into the session so some good number could help to strengthen the market for a while but the put/call numbers from earlier this week plus the rising VIX/VXN today indicate we could be heading lower with a bit more momentum if those numbers aren't good enough:

Anyway please keep posting your thoughts as well. If we can get a bit more of a rally here it will make it a lot easier to profit from a short position.
