If he writes a check to every U.S. man, woman, and child for a million, they will all figure out real quick that they are just as poor as they were before. On the other hand he could write a check to every other U.S. person. That way half get richer and half get poorer. The half that got richer will go on a spending spree and shoot the economy to the moon. The half that got poorer...well screw them.
