Some thoughts on Digital Imaging Technology. They have taken this technology a long way, but the high end folks still use analog because digital is just not good enough - yet. I have tried to think through this movement and do you really think people in emerging nations will be buying these devices anytime soon. If one wants to go digital a computer and fairly good printer are nice companions. I suppose one can take the pictures and have them processed, but the secret to using the digital camera is you can take a ton of pictures, down load them to your computer and toss the ones you do not like.

I don't know the answer, but suspect the large numbers of consumers on this planet will be using analog for a while.
