you paint lovely pictures with your words....

I started a thread earlier this year called "Groundhog Day" it is named after a movie, not sure if you have seen it, but the idea is that the main character lives the same day over and over again because he is living his life wrong. Only when he starts to do the right things for the right reasons is he able to break out of that cycle.

I feel that the US economy is following a Groundhog Day-like script. The mistakes that we are making have been made before...slash rates, print money, devalue the money...it doesn't work no matter how many times it is tried. The excesses in the economy need to correct. It is healthy for them to correct. Prolonging the process by fighting the natural progression only causes more pain. But if that's the script that is being played out, then we know what to do.
