But Mahathir has repeatedly warned that a U.S.-led invasion of Iraq would only fuel anti-Western sentiment among Muslims and could spur more terrorist attacks.

This statement is just one more lousy Islamic Terrorist threat against our nation, a blatant attempt at blackmail.

To bow to this kind of remark would simply result in the propagation of the use of terrorism against us.

They could, but the evidence so far is that they don't. Who is getting attacked more after Afghanistan, Russia, Fance, Indonesia, all Muslim friendly, or supposedly more friendly than the US, yet they are the ones receiving the brunt of the attacks. Just how many attack squads from Japan or Germany, have we seen since WWII, NK since 51, or how terrifying are the Panamanians now.
