Well, we're back....Friday was a day of BIG winds here...knocked power out for Friday afternoon through yesterday late afternoon...so went to a hotel overnight...our poor little doggies were very happy to see us when we got back...we knew they wouldn't blow the candles out so had to leave them in the dark and cold...but they did have lots of blankets to curl up into...In our case, looks like some big trees fell on the transformers and knocked them out for some time...some houses here are still without power. In fact, our area made the national news because of trees on houses, so we feel fortunate ours wasn't one of them!

It was quite windy, but all in all, compared to the Jan 1993 storm and several other bad ones in the past, this was just a pussy cat.

Took the little kids to see Piniccio (sp?) yesterday....Don't bother rushing to see it....maybe OK if you rent it on video....but with the high price of movie seats, plus the cost of popcorn and drinks....(the 2 hours cost over $35, 2 kiddies and an ole lady who brought 2 paper bags to put popcorn in from the giant refillable bucket) It would have ben more had that ole' lady not thought ahead...

How are all of you??
