Bdog..."i am a bit concerned about the low vol, BUT i have seen these gold/silver stocks keep on going on lo vol..."
I know that volume is an important indicator of movement in a stock. But, I have to agree with your statement of movement on low volume. Earlier in the year I was looking at energy stocks and found TXCO. I scoffed at it for the volume was sad...less than 30K shares traded in a day. However, as I watched it, it continued to grow on that low volume, and then, the volume came in. Look at the chart. TXCO was in the 2's...kept moving up, then right around 3's volume picked up and really came in, then the move up to 8. So, now, I don't overlook low volume stocks. They might not be the ones to buy into right away and the true movement comes with volume, but if you ignore them and don't put them on a watchlist, you might lose out later.
