Not too long ago someone reported on SI that the God of the Quran (that is Allah) is symbolically represented by the crescent moon whereas the God of the Bible is not! <g>

Who is "the God of Abraham" and in which way is He different than the God in the Bible, Torah, and Quran?

You answered you own question in a subsequent post.

Sorry but that is just not true:
(1) "God of Quran" is the same as the God of the Bible and the Torah, as it says in no uncertain terms in the Quran that the same God "sent" both of the earlier books.
(2) God is not represented by anything in Islam, which, incidentally, prohibits all visual representation of God and Prophet Mohammad because it is apparently extremely undesirable for people to worship objects/icons rather than God.

IMO, you must been one of the enlightened.
