that is why I keep harping on the importance of finally seeing the members of Islam who don't advocate violence to make themselves heard, especially along the fringes of Islam where Islam looks to nonbelievers more as more as the angel of death, and in the arabian heartland where the disease is borne, so that the Mullahs and fanatics are excorsized.

Many are simply too frightened to speak out... At least those who have been to the West and partaken of it educational fruits..

But many others just perceive themselves as superior, believing they are clever enough to get what they want from the west until such a point that they can conquer and control it...

I personally don't want to see Americans being put in a position where they have to kill anyone, let alone Arabs.. But if it should be required, I hope we continue to maintain our tradition of recognizing the "good guys" (or at least neutral ones) which whacking the bad guys...

But I agree with you that Muslims in the US need to speak out more publicly... It they wish to be treated as Americans, they need to take pride in what America has to offer them, and not try to maintain friendly relations in two separate cultures which have diametrically opposed value systems.
