Aside from the stock there is a real company. Cash flow positive is an accounting term.

CASH FLOW is earnings before depreciation and amortization.

CASH FLOW FROM OPERATIONS is the sum of all the individual operating activity cash flow line items, less cash realized from the sale of extraordinary items, e.g., fixed assets.

FREE CASH FLOW is net income plus non-cash charges to income, specifically depreciation and amortization less capital expenditures, to sustain the basic business.

Being cash flow positive means that the company would no longer need cash from their financing activities to run the business but they get the needed cash from operations. Whenever you buy a company's stock what you are basically betting on is future free cash flow.

The company is on track to go cash flow positive in the near future.

Amazon's (and all retailers) profit dependent on
stupidity of consumers.

I don't have a problem paying someone a profit for their time or expertise, as I expect people will pay me for my time and expertise. I don't consider myself the slightest bit stupid, nor do I think of my clients that way. They do what they do well and I do what I do well and we both make money.
