Pardon me, but I never intended to preach Gospel. I was stating my opinions (which apparently contradicts yours), based on my personal experiences.

Yeah, I can't wait to tell my nationality and places I have lived in the ME, so those of us who have not yet grown beyond name-calling can have a field day insulting my nationality and home country.

Another point to make re. living in the ME is that the ME is a varied area. Turkey is not like Iraq is not like SA is not like Bahrain is not like Iran, etc. Living in one country may not necessarily give you insight into other countries. In fact, it could even potentially lull you into thinking that most people in the region are like the people you know.
