Is that what you call a "state"? That is and "Indian preservation", what Sharon has proposed.

Anyway, I am off for the weekend. I hope to hear from you regarding the other points in my previous mail.

The Palestinians don't have to stop terrorism for a minute (recall that the Israeli demand was for a cease-fire, not a total surrender). They don't have to reform their government, either. But the Israelis don't have to stop fighting or negotiate with Arafat again, either.

So this situation will go on. Tough luck for the Israelis and Palestinians who will continue to die.

debka is now saying that Sharon is engaged in secret talks with Arafat via Abu Mazen, btw. I have no idea what this is about.

Maybe it is because Debka is not really a credible source.
