I am kinda bemused that the average american did not see it coming to US domestic shores.

I'm rather amazed that folks like Bin Laden thought they could strike the US homeland to this degree, and not find themselves all spending the rest of their lives as hunted men with a price on their heads..

And btw, Kumar... I've been in the real world and I'm WELL aware of the threats that are out there... Likely
more so than yourself..

You asked me to provide you irrefutable evidence that millions of people want to destroy the US and the Western economic system, but no one can do that without being "inside" their infrastructure (and organizational compartmentalization would limit obtaining full knowledge).. and I provided you a realistic quantitive and statistical breakdown.

But sheer logic dictates that these operations are not the work of "solo" lunatics... It takes money to carry out these kinds of attacks. For every terrorist "operator" carrying out missions, there are usually 4 times as many people providing support (safehouses, fundraising, transportation, documents.. etc) that enable them to carry out their attacks.

It's that hidden infrastructure that you seem to be ignoring and failing to count when trying to assess the amount of support and/or sympathy the militant factions possess...

And given that most of these folks in the muslim world are not especially well-educated (due to poverty and repressive governments), it's not too difficult to manipulate them into believing that the US (and Israelis) are responsible for their desperate lives...

When one's life is a spiritual vacuum, they often fall under the spell of any charismatic, nationalistic leader offering a ready explanation, and solution to their misery... Doesn't matter if it's utterly wrong... They'll grasp at any sense of hope and social support...

And this is what Islamic Fascism has excelled at in recent decades.. They undermine the corrupt government social systems, financed by Saudi oil revenues and "other" activities...
