Tell us EXACTLY how a Vietnam "war record" thirty years ago makes "Liveshot" Kerry presidential material?

Yes, you are correct, it does not. Especially since "Liveshot" denounced his own record UNTIL he found it to be politically expedient to shout it from the rooftops..

GW Bush did go AWOL from the Texas Air Guard, and just getting into the unit in the first place was a rich boy's dodge using connections. His father was a congressman at the time and GW was never disciplined for failing to report for duty, and for never showing up again. BTW, GW's test scores for the Air Guard were abyssmal and he never should have gotten in in the first place. He was also a heavy drinker in those days so who'd want him to be a pilot? Just a dodge. Cheney used a law school deferment. Rush Limbaugh used a pimple on his ass to get 4-F'ed. Others foght and maybe died in their places. PS - I notice the big four oil companies are already salivating over dividing up Iraq after the war. Seems like this is the real reason for it. As Lyn Nofzinger told me "Wouldn't put it past them". Just came back from Houston and Bush is much less popular there than you'd think. Even Republicans feel let down. After all Enron was the city's biggest employer and its chief project was putting GW in office. Promises of integerity shattered. Kerry can beat this guy but the Bushies will try every trick in the book to retain power, including perhaps starting a war for politial reasons before the election.
