Went to a party last night in Seattle, and there were more than a few liberals in attendance. When the subject of Patty bin Murray came up (which is just exactly what I called her...VBG) there were the usual defenders "glad that she brought it up because it is so true and we can all now address the problem of poverty in the ME" ect.......blah, blah, blah. When I made the very simple request for examples of day care facilities, schools...other than Madrasas, and hospitals that bin Laden had provided to the masses, all I saw were dropped mouths, and all I heard was utter silence. I even gave them a second chance by asking the question twice, and naturally got the same reply. I was proud of myself. I didn't let an untrue or unsubstantiated comment pass by without a challenge. All in a very friendly way of course. ;) M PS I had a surge protector when the power surge fried my monitor last year. Bought the latest one (flat screen) at BEST which came along with a 100% guarantee against surge damage.
