The no-body bag mentality will cause more rather than less body bags later on. You are absolutely right, we should protect the oil fields from destruction. Post war iraq without oil would be a disaster in the making. The only battles we should avoid are the ones inside the cities. If we can pacify the rest of iraq quickly, the cities will fall without combat, and without starvation. Saddam is counting on us stepping into this trap of his. If we dont bite, he will have trapped himself once and for all. Mike

My take too but I think the US will not go beyond that.
