It's always funny when, accused of being vicious, violent, madmen, the accused people confirm the point by death threats, threats of mutilation etc <though he has received more than 4,500 e-mails from angry Muslims, with some threats of death and mutilation.>

Moslems shouldn't be surprised that the stereotype developing is of a crazed, bearded, male wanting to blow people up, or hack off their heads.

A fatwah against Salman Rushdie is a case in point. Moslems should expect to be laughed at and held in contempt because the fatwah makers are leaders of their mystical cult, which, as with much religious effort, is about getting power, the money and the girls, using fear and mysticism and claims to have 'the dinkum word handed directly to me to tell you, who are ignorant peasants to be enlightened by my good self'.

Christian crazies are just as bad, as Hawkmoon can attest, [and most of us can who have seen some of their madness up close and personal].

The clash of civilizations isn't between Moslems and Christians, or between The West and Islamism. It's between mystical dominance kleptocratic tribal hierarchies [the eons-old biological imperatives] and voluntary rationalism.

The West is polluted with large dollops of that stuff. That's the clash of civilization in The West too. Maori spiritual mysticism is overlaying neosocialism, state busy-bodying and suffocation.

In a response to be published Sunday in the Tallahassee Democrat, Marlette noted that his cartoon is a takeoff on the recent controversy among some Protestants over the morality of driving gas-guzzling SUVs – "What Would Jesus drive?"

He explained that "to a cartoonist working in the current geo-political atmosphere, it is a natural step to ask, 'What would Muhammad Drive?'"

What's rather interesting about this general aggressive reaction amongst muslims to any perceived insult of Muhammed is the fact that Jesus (Isa) is also considered a prophet of God...

So why aren't muslims sending death threats when people make insulting comments or jokes about Jesus??
