Yes...that's it. Clinton gutted the military to create 8 years of unprecedented prosperity, relative peace, lowest crime rate in memory, lowest unemployment ever, a balanced budget with supluses, balance between business and care for the environment and more.

I can go buy a new Rolls Royce, and drive a really, really nice car. But if I do, I can't afford to pay for oil changes.

Should I buy the Rolls, or scale back to something more affordable?

Clinton made a decision to forego the upkeep so that he could drive a Rolls.

Every time a damned liberal leaves the presidency, we have to spend the next four years getting the military back to where it should be. Happened after LBJ, after Carter, and now after Clinton.

Liberals put our national defense last. That's what you're doing, and that is what these liberal presidents do.

Combat leader interviewed last night credited TEN years of training and upgrading of equipment and technology for their quick advance to Baghdad. So I guess a lot of military progress was made during the Clinton years huh? So much for Clinton "gutting" the military. That's all a Bushie myth of course. And Gore's militry budget was HIGHER than Bush's in 2000. Time to dump that big lie.
