Alighieri Re..Beside the fact that it will cost thousand of lives,

How many thousands of children starve in Iraq every month for lack of food, while Saddam spends the money on another palace.

you are witnessing it already in the world disorder that is beginning to emerge elsewhere in the world.

Now that makes a lot of sense. All of the world disorder we are seeing now will be blamed on Gw if and when he decides to invade Iraq. You probably will, but is that fair?

This president could not care less about the children of Iraq anymore than the one that came before him did.

That I agree with. I have no idea how that is bad? I thought we all agreed Bill was a humanitarian president who cared about children. To say Gw could not care less, must mean he cares more.

clearly remember that you severly criticized Clinton for intervening in Kosovo. You were so admanant that at one point I thought you might be a Serb. Don't make me dig the posts.

That is one bet I could make a sizeable bet on ; shall we say 10 lashes with a wet noodle to the looser; and I would hardly break a sweat. I am not sure when the war was, but I didn't join SI until late 1998, and I believe the war was before then. And I back the air strikes, and would have backed ground forces if necessary.
