I suppose that was quite a while ago, eh?

Nowadays, things are different. Students in England have become rebellious of late. They complain that the syllabi for various subjects are too arduous. They want an easier time at school. Many complain that despite having worked and studied hard, they couldn't make the grade. Therefore they are making demands to get things watered down for their benefit.

It's funny, you know, but students seemed to be able to cope many years ago.

Some experts say the math curriculum in many schools and college in N. America is a joke!!! Unfortunately, I am not in a position to comment on that. But certain it is that standards have gone down a lot for a variety of reasons, some of which I have touched upon in prior posts.
