Many major pension funds remain under funded, which will cut into future corporate profits.

This morning on Fox ("Cashin' In"), Ned Riley said with a straight face that the under funded pension situation would cause the markets to rise because when companies add additional cash, that money HAS to be put into stocks.

Crusader, I pretty much agree except I don't think the US financial future is at all uncertain. "I've seen the future, it is murder." Leonard Cohen. Except for short bursts of delusion, like the rise in the market since late October, we are in deep Kimshee. It would take many months to get out of it if we were trying to do so. However, the current geeks in the White House and on Capitol Hill are continuing to make things worse, so years look more likely than months now.
