LB, Powell said today that an attack on the reactor would be a dirty hit creating an unlivable zone. Also not acceptable imo. Democrats were talking about engagement today and not using intermediaries per Powell and Bush. Must admit in this case i agree with dems. Appeasement is only bad policy when it encourages the appeasee or sets a bad example. My belief is that we have no choice but to settle this peacefully and I dont think others will see us as paper tiger, given the consequences of a preemptive attack and given the coming war with Iraq which will prove that we are not a paper tiger. As for NK, once they are sure of their short term survival they will give up nukes for bucks. Knowing what we know about iraq and NK, how should we approach iran as they move forward with their development of nukes? This will really be the hard one going forward. Mike
