Korby, I have a regular IRA, and was told several years ago, I could not short stocks in this account....I would assume the same holds true for a Roth IRA, but have not researched it...

I have purchased the Rydex funds thru Fidelity in my rollover IRA. Did not purchase more than 3,000 worth at times. While Rydex does have large capital requirements for trading directly thru them, I believe they are eased by many of the major brokers (Schwab, Fidelity, etc.)
