elavagame, (pronounced: 'ell of a game)

Holy smokes that one gave me an ulcer...

Excellent game. Had all the emotions I could want in one.

The Giants didn't deserve to win that one.

Actually the defense played rather well but the offense
just kept giving the ball away.

I'm surprised that my coffee table could stand up to the
pounding that the palm of my hand was giving it.

And those refs and their holding calls. Argh!
My nerves are shot.

What an emotional rollercoaster.

It feels great that the Giants made the playoffs.
For much of this season I didn't figure it would happen.

I'm sort of glad we won't have any home games.
That field is hideous.
I guess this is the first time that I actually see the
logic of the synthetic playing surfaces.

It made me start thinking...
I wonder why they don't make a natural sod surface where you
lay some sort of plastic mesh or netting where the grass seed
grows up through it.

It would hold itself together but the grass would hide the
mesh.

It would help prevent those Tiger Woods sized divots from
coming up with every step that a player makes when running
and cutting on sod that hasn't had time nor the weather to
root itself into the dirt.

Perhaps I'm onto something...

Or perhaps it's already been tried and failed...

Pats took Miami in a squeaker! Field goal in OT. Now the Pack needs to beat the Jets for the Pats to get in. Right now the Jets are looking good...let's hear it from all the Cheeseheads at the bar.
