Ted Red...Re..You are wasting bandwidth. I had thought we both agreed that while the US may be the biggest giver of aid, its done in such a way that we don't seem to reap the amount of goodwill commensurate with the amount of aid we provide.

Read the damn question. Just answer the question. I agreed we don't reap the same amount of goodwill. How does that say or imply in any way shape or form, that I felt Sen Murray was being unpatriotic?

Here's one of probably several examples. You start by saying that you didn't think she was unpatriotic but then by the end of the paragraph you imply she is unpatriotic.......so who knows what you really mean but since her speech, your overall tone has suggested you think she was unpatriotic for making the comments she made. What's interesting [and this is a repeat] is that you complain that she was doing the speech for political gain and to benefit her in her upcoming election when in fact, the audience was made up of mainly 16 year old kids who can't vote.

In any case, here are your words to which I am referring:

Message 18373832

"I think she twisted the facts to suit her purpose. I didn't say she was unpatriotic. That said, just how patriotic is someone who twists the facts so she can be reelected or further her agenda. To go to war or not to go to war should be decided on facts, not on a bunch of lies."

Excuse me if what I get from the above is that you think Sen. Murray is unpatriotic........it sure sounded like it inspite of your earlier denial.

Its clear you have a difference of opinion with Ms. Murray; however, it is unclear to me as one of her constituents how you can misconstrue what she said and determine that Ms. Murray's patriotism is in question. Like me, I know Ms. Murray loves this country and wants only the best for it.
