CA and at least 17 other states are in trouble. A muni bond person was on the other day saying that munis might something to look at in 2003 if they can be picked up at a reasonable discount to face value. Apparently, S&P published a report recently that rated most in the AA or better range because they are guaranteed to be paid buy taxpayers.

Watching the Raiders game is humorous....lots of water.

Lot's of yearning for fantasy going around now ,yet Star Trek Nemesis really sucked bigtime, yukko , but $124mil for Two Towers in 7 days ...pretty magnificent movie , imo.

Maybe we could all move to "Middle Earth" and learn to be "Hobbits"? ;-)

...funny how the fable /fantasy/fiction and fact mirroring each other. With the latest Bond movie being based on a North Korean flare-up /incident .

Seems they would have more reason to go after the plutonium factories in Korea now , than Saddam .<G>

(Maybe if they had just taken away all of Saddam's Godfather movies a while back , he wouldn't have been such a pain in the ass. There you have a clear case of fantasy & fiction becoming a bad reality ...religion doesn't seem to help much <G> )
