Edwards is a star in his home state. He is moderate, a great leader and loved by everyone but the right wing. As a Veep candidate he can pull in North Carolina helped by Kerry's strong military record. Bush didn't win North Carolina by much from Gore in 2000. At one point a network called NC for Gore, just like Florida. One state like NC can make the whole difference, though I'll bet Bush loses by a lot more this time around. It's going to be the economy, stupid. Plus a lot more.
