I hope Congress successfully repeals parts of the Patriot Act. It was a bad act. And, it is downright
frightening, because John Ashcroft is Attorney General. Ashcroft, like Bush,
wants to force his own moral views on the rest of the country.

There was discussion on pbs radio about Iraq war. People are very upset. Some people are so upset
that they refuse to pay taxes because Bush squanders their money on WAR! I didn't hear the discussion.

I keep wondering if Bush will bring us to the brink of another American Revolution. The Constitution
provides for one. Or maybe, the west will secede from the US. A number of years ago there was
talk that the US west had more in common with British Columbia. Certainly, we don't have much
in common with George Bush's Texas Confederacy, or the Republican party, which was once
the party of Lincoln, but now is the party of Jefferson Davis.
