Wait for Kerry's anti tax evasion bill and you'll see.
When American companies make billions and pay zero stateside taxes there is something wrong. Why are they any better than those who rob? A law is a law. The Republicans like to criticize Clinton for the Marc Rich pardon. What was he guilty of? Same thing. Offshore tax evasion. Perhaps hundreds of thousands are guilty of tax evasion every year and get away with it. Time to make people and companies honest again vis a vis the IRS. This country's heading for bankrupcy in case you hadn't noticed. There is simply no way to pay for everything Bush has promised and that the US is legally bound to pay for. Local and state taxes are already sky-rocketing. The federal tax cuts will either have to be abolished or services severely slashed. Some of these services will hit us all personally if cut. It's a receipe for economic disaster. Very little fiscal responsibility in most conservatives these days. Surprises me. You'd think consdrvative would mean running a fiscal tight ship. And now we have the biggest government of all time. So "less government" is another broken promise. And privatizing will bring in the robber barons who will rip off the system just like they did during the S+L debacle.

Do you think it's right that a corporation can have a tax haven, but you as an ordinary citizen cannot???

Why can't I legally have an account in Bermuda or the Caymans where I can send my dividends and all other unearned income???
