jj, no question the market is headed lower, much lower ... I found 3 bearish t/a reasons which always held for the last 2 years: ndx 50 sma broken, ndx 10 ema under 20 ema, ndx island reversal (strangely, haven't seen ndx island reversal mentioned much), see chart:

... but it won't be down in a straight line so I'm looking for bounces ... not sure about any rally but obviously a 5-7%+ NDX move up can happen at any time depending on how oversold we get.

jj, the put/call may need to get to 1.00 before reversing:

It often times tops (or bottoms) within 5% of the Bollinger Bands.
