I'll bet there are a lot of other folks who *would* mind that.

However, this *is* the end of the 4th quarter, and Q4 has historically been a good quarter for software stocks. It used to be that prospects had an annual software budget and they had to either "use it or lose it". Given the economic climate for the last year or so, I don't know whether that still applies.

Anyway, assuming it does, then there's a good chance that there have been and will be some last minute deals closed. Since Friday was the last day of the last full week of business in 2002, I wouldn't be surprised that a deal or two was signed at 4:55pm. And that might mean a PR early Monday morning to get one last price spike in before the year end.

After that, though ... good luck to the longs.

At least they'll be able to say they bought into one of the biggest percentage movers of the year.

As of Friday Bob has only left a 52% return on his investment on the table, and believe me the longs have eaten it up!
