It was at the time the fourth largest military in the world. I believe we've discussed this here before.

Apparently, you don't read your own links very well. The article in the link above points out that Iraq's active army had 375k men......far less than the 1.2 million it claimed when it considered itself the 4th largest army.

That same point is made in the conclusion [Section IV] of what I believe to be a Pentagon report on the Gulf War shown in the link below. It states that the Pentagon overestimated the numbers in Iraq's army and that, in fact, the number was 375k men. However, this is not news.......apparently, most of the world new that Iraq did not have the 4th largest army except you and your partner in crime, Fudd.
