jttmab,

Re: I would there's a follow-up article on why North Korea is safe. They have no oil.

I've got the sneaking suspicion that Kim Jong-Il and his cronies are have a giggle-fit over the way they're making Junior appear to be a total hypocrite about which ruuully, ruuully bad guy he has to go after. Let's see.... do we attach the guy who has the nukes and is threatening us, or do we go after the guy who is an easier mark? It's obvious, pick on the weaker opponent.

The world (outside the U.S.) knows that Osama Bin Laden got dropped as U.S. enemy numero uno for a sexier (and easier and more lootable) target. At least once the pipeline through Afghanistan got its special garrisons provided for. Kim must be finding it terribly amusing to be tweaking the New World Odor that Bush is trying to create. All in a day's work for an Axis of Evil chess player, I reckon.

They do, however, have a lot of weapons of mass destruction loaded, locked, and aimed at our allies in the region. North Korea is a lousy place to fight, and by the way, the UN is dealing with them. Haven't you heard?

why North Korea is safe. They have no oil.
