Favre is an awfully refreshing character in this age of showin' 'tude. I get so sick of ego displays on the field that I lose interest in the games.

Like you, Claps, I love to watch Favre after the play is over. Watch him joke, smile and enjoy the competition. That is also a very sly way to take a competitor out of their game.

I have a buddy that looks just like Favre, and oddly, he projects a very similar attitude and approach to life.

Did you watch that Wisconsin/Colorado game? It was an excellent game. Washington/Purdue tomorrow should be a great one....unfortunately I will miss a lot of it by being at the airport to pick up Yen. But, I get to pick up Yen....a fair trade.

humility is a an important and necessary
component of greatness...

but you also must be able to correctly
pronounce yer own name.
