matter of interpretation...

I interpreted it as : "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer" (copyright the Godfather movies!)

<Are you defending what the muslim terrorists did? >

Yes. They are fighting for power and dominance. It's an eons-long tradition in the human menagerie.

Until we have a fully-functioning United Nations based on democratic ethical principles instead of power, you might as well get used to it.

You'll find the same power-seeking from the individual level up to the biggest political power groupings [currently the people in the White House]. That's just what they do.

Calling them crazed Moslem zombies is not exactly accurate. They don't seem crazed to me [other than in their mystical beliefs, but Americans and are full of those too - apparently something like 70% of Americans claim to believe there are supernatural deities running the show]. They seem to be doing very well with limited resources and the world against them.

Moslem, muslim, Muslim, Islamic or however we write it is a single definition for a wide range of beliefs. In the same way, Christian covers umpty millions of different beliefs and those beliefs have been so different that it's been worth torturing and killing the heretics who expound the wrong version.

Zombies? Well, I guess they are in thrall to their ideological leaders, but Silicon Investor is fully of mindless zombies too, so it's no special privilege to be a Moslem Zombie. There's even a thread for Mindless Zombies, mostly to do with our great and estimable idol, Uncle Al, Peace Be Upon Him. Subject 53236

Since many of us oppose the power and ideology of the Moslem Head Hackers [a special subset of Islam who have the belief that hacking heads off heretics is a good idea] it's a good idea to prevent them taking over or inflicting damage on us.

So, we have to seek power and dominance over them, since they are doing the age-old thing which you will find in the USA too. Try doing something which is unapproved and see what you get for your efforts. They'll shoot you if you resist arrest, so be careful about exerting your right to self-determination and don't be sucked in by that "Land of the Free and Home of the Brave" stuff. Nor the "Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness" cant.

Sure, it's better [in most respects] than living in the clutches of the Taleban, but quite a few people apparently thought the Taleban brought a certain stability to life. Many people regretted the passing of the Kremlin and KGB.

I wouldn't say that crashing planes was ok. It just is what they do. Just as chimps eating monkeys isn't ok. It just is what they do. Tigers eat people. It's not ok. That's just what they do when they get a chance.

It's what we do too. When we catch Osama and co, they'll find there's a bit of tiger in us.

It's just primates doing what primates do. Seek dominance, get the girls and the goods.
