God has made Israel an example for all mankind. i think these verses sum it up: And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, [and] wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel. ye house of israel continues to turn their back against God to this day, and that is why jews have been scattered to the ends of the earth, that is why all people are against them, that is why their enemies pursue them, that is why they are dispossesed of their land, and that is why their numbers are not increased. (jews make up less than a quarter of one percent of the world population). God has made an example of the jewish people. if americans follow the jews down the path of unrighteousness, we will suffer the same fate.
