Bushies do things in private. Bectel, Carlyle Group, Halliburton's offshore subsidiaries. Formerly Enron. Same bunch that brought us Iran-Contra and the phony energy crisis. Also former BCCI Bank connections. John Kerry prosecuted both iran-Contra and BCCI and may prosecute again on the campaign trail. It's a labyrinth and I expect filled with CIA connections. Even has Bin Lauden connections through Carlyle and BCCI. The Bin Lauden family in Boston was whisked out of the country on 9-11. Strange huh? Many old Reagan-Bush superhawks raking in sweetheart deals and affecting policy. They're going to make a ton of money if Bush continues his wars. Iraq War alone will make then tens of billions and ability to seize Iraq's oilfields for Exxon, Chevron, etc. Afghan pipeline. Central Asia and the lower former Soviet Union. Iran, West Africa. All places where the light of the free press does not shine. Very corrupt places where they learn their business practices. Marc Rich that righties blame Clinton for is just typical of the many players in this group. Robber barons and tax cheats. CIA connections up the yin-yang. When I was in Thailand in the 80's I met a lot of those old CIA types in the oil business. Spooky group. It's a tough world, but too much power in too few hands, and very secretive hands. The end result can be the subversion of democracy and wars solely for oil. The Venezuelan situation now has been linked to the CIA and oil companies working together. They don't want a socialist controlling those reserves. So they break apart the nation and create a martial law or coup d'etat situation. Have done it before, will do it again. Oil is their king. And the root of most of their evils. That's a very important reason to get OFF oil over the next 15-20 years. And we can do it, folks. Just need a new President.
