That said, just how patriotic is someone who twists the facts so she can be reelected or further her agenda.

Patriotism is clearly in the eye of the beholder. While most conservatives would consider a Hanoi Jane or Baghdad Jim as unpatriotic, there are no doubt liberals who think these people are super-patriotic.

Patriot: One who loves, supports, and defends one's country.

If one looks at the definition of "patriot" it is clear that a prerequisite to being called a patriot one must LOVE, SUPPORT AND DEFEND one's country. That doesn't mean love, support OR defend it. Thus, "loving" one's country, alone, is insufficient to be called "patriotism".

Perhaps Baghdad Jim and Hanoi Jane BOTH "love" their country. But neither defended it, nor supported it. Their actions, in fact, were contrary to the notion of "defending" and "supporting" their country. These people are not patriots.

Unfortunately, while Sen. Murray may "love" her country, I believe that any objective look at her statement would lead to the conclusion that she neither SUPPORTED nor DEFENDED her country. In fact, she evidently SUPPORTED and DEFENDED one of our nation's greatest enemies.

Hmmm. Interesting accusation . I assume you looked at all of the posts I made on the subject and could only come up with this one part of one post, which I highlighted in the next paragraph. Lets take a look at that statement. You posted to this statement from one of my earlier posts; in which you see, I am replying to earlier accusations by you that I called her unpatriotic.

You want to play mind games, play them with you sons.
