Our worst two that I can remember were in early 1990....bad snow/wind/ice storm that started just before rush hour, causing all sorts of havoc in the area--power was out for 5 days...and included damage to our boat of over $140,000 when all was said and done!!!

Then the super bad wind storm that we call the Clinton incoming storm (we should have known it was an omen)...the day he was sworn in was a terribly fierce wind and rain storm... The area we live looked like pictures you can see from a war zone....

So this one was a pussy cat in comparison. Winds were 30-40 sustained, up to 65 mph gusts, and over 100 mph gusts in the mountains... They finally have snow, though...
