What I said is in the past was that we can't afford two wars, and we can't. Already we're running deficits and we are not at war yet with Iraq. This is ridiculous. If you said, "We can't afford any new interstate highways", or "we can't afford a prescription drug benefit" or "we can't afford the billions in pork going to Byrd's West Virginia", that would be something. But to suggest we can't defend ourselves is just sickening. I keep forgetting..remind me, oh wise one, who attacked us and how are we defending ourselves? You are so full of war fever, you need to take two aspirin and take to your bed. ted
