I agree, volume is tiny, but that doesn't mean credit cards aren't being used more than before, if prev. purchases were from sales of other stock, margin, 401ks, etc. Probably credit cards are being used more than ever, for pretty much everything. FWIW, I don't know anyone who's bought stock w. credit card credit, then or now.

Whether that claim is exact, who knows... which is why I used the term "entertaining" <g> I've found other surprising items to have a basis in fact, plus a few imaginative ones in the "entertaining" category...
