I donot call myself a conservative. I donot consider myself a conservative. I consider myself mostly American in political matters. American common sense says only fools blame others for their own mistakes. In my life I have seen so much gray and even white stupidity condemned as crime and knowing immorality. I see it on this thread everyday. In every post by some.

Increasing share holder value doing all that is legal was his job.

But you say there may be a gray and some bad business judgement. With this possibility you suggest the President single out the man who may be guilty of gray or more. A man who is likely to be involved in a trial. Is the President part of the system that will enforce the law??

I suggest that making clear the negative interpretation suggested by words of the leader in a party is far more important than crimes one individual of many, who may have committed crimes in one company of many.

One is a matter of perceptions and political morality and the other a criminal matter.

Crime is crime, but racism is a systemic debilitating crime.
And even when not a crime but gray, a racist mindset is evil.

I simply cannot see logic to any relative comparisons. That's based upon my personal values judgement.

In America, success can also be a product of luck and not ability. Maybe Lay is not really that good, but was lucky for a time and then had. But his sale of stock 100% indicated to me he did not see what was going to happen.
I reviewed his insider sales in detail.
