Believe me, Faith-based has nothing to with helping the poor. It has to do with paying off religious voter blocks and trying to put chickens in their pots. It's corrupt and very partisan and it uses our tax money. It also crosses the line between church and state and will antagonize any groups which DONT get the money. How can you give to Jerry Falwell and not to Louis Farrakhan for instance? That's descrimination. It's a train-wreck in the making. And totally unnecessary. Our Minister in Houston and his big church feed thousands of poor people. They dont want Bush's program and think it will soil their nest.
