I've seen some History channel programs and elsewhere the past few years that pointed out the fact the food was being exported during the height of the famine, but nothing I've seen has gone as far as that web site which claims it was official British policy to eradicate the race.

There are many places on the web for the Irish Potato Famine, Charley....(genealogists know....) Also, look up the German uprising pre 1846 as well.... Some of my ancestors were from Protestant Ireland (Cromwell era 1642+) and some were actually from Catholic Ireland and were able to leave Ireland in the 1830/1840's....Also a couple of German ancestors here in 1843 before the general uprising in 1846.... The web is a marvelous place...
