Could be. But flash biz is very insignificant in Intel's rev total. Also when the flash increase was announced, it did not result in a rise in share price.

When Intel gave the mid-Q update, I don't think it was dependent on flash prices - which won't be in effect till January, anyway.

I'm leaning to the thought that the dollar's weakness assures the shorts that they will be able to cover without any short squeeze.
